Although we had intentions of podcasting during CES week, we honestly couldn't find the time among all of the meetings. Finally, on our last night of the show, Brian, Jarred and myself got together and recorded just a small portion of what we saw at the show.

We went over the new Snapdragons, Allwinner's A31 SoC (and the Odna tablet with the iPad 4's display), Broadcom's LTE modem, Galaxy Camera, Oculus VR, Haswell and more.

It's kind of funny listen to y'all talking about how good and quick the head tracking was after all the trouble the F-35 helmet has with that and they spent oodles of money trying to get it to work right.

What about the Exynos Octo? I know their presentation was very vague, but I would have liked to hear your thoughts

Dang, I was really looking forward to discussion about AMD's Tamesh and Jaguar cores. I was extremely impressed by the the Tamesh power tablet running Dirt Showdown in 1080p.

    Me too.
Also It's interesting, when the time comes, how does those apu's fare coupled with a discrete gpu, say an HD 8770? Brazos in comparison fared a bit inadequate in such a discipline, still adequate for what it was, Intel's atom was slower in such scenario.

I'm kinda surprised that there wasn't any discussion about the weird Qualcomm keynote. It was just.... wow.

With regards to the rest of the show, I'm wondering if the prediction of an Apple 4K display coming out in ~18 months still holds true. I'm of the mind that it'll happen sooner, much sooner. Sharp is set to ship the PN-K321 32" display next month for ~$5500 (it launched back in November 2012).

Really enjoyed listening to Jarred on his Podcast debut - insightful, and very easy on the ear.

    I *swear* this wasn't me leaving a comment! ;-)

Thanks for the friendly post -- glad at least my mom enjoyed hearing me. "Hey look, ma! I'm on the innernet! I'm famous!"
