NVIDIA Brings Back Destiny 2 Bundle Again for GTX 1080 & 1080 Ti Cards

For what is the 3rd time this year, NVIDIA is offering the “New Legends Will Rise” Destiny 2 bundle for GeForce GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti graphics cards, systems, and laptops. From today until November 29th (or while supplies last), qualified purchases will come with a digital copy of Destiny 2 via Blizzard Desktop App, officially launching on October 24th for PC. As a reminder, eligible systems may include NVIDIA’s own GeForce GTX Battlebox PCs.
The massively multiplayer online sci-fi first-person shooter, a concept Bungie previously described as a “shared world shooter”, supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) and SLI. Having collaborated with Activision and Bungie on the game's graphics, NVIDIA has detailed the PC graphics options for Destiny 2 in a blog post, with the removal of MSAA the only difference from the Beta. In addition, GTX 1060 performance testing at 1080p was done for each graphical option. At a glance, Destiny 2 seems to be considered as a genuine improvement over the original by review press, but various community forums maintain a much more mixed opinion.
The game codes may only be redeemed until December 31st. Fortunately, this bundle comes just after at the end of the Middle-earth: Shadow of War bundle for GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti cards. Otherwise, no other bundles are active this time.

On the bundle page, NVIDIA has listed an Amazon link for a list of qualifying cards.
The bundle landing page has links to all eligible retailers. Codes must be redeemed through GeForce Experience (3.2.2 or higher), utilizing driver 373.06 or higher. Game must be redeemed via GeForce Experience on a desktop or notebook PC with the qualifying graphics card installed. Once the code is redeemed in GeForce Experience, the game must be redeemed in the Blizzard Desktop App in seven days. A Blizzard account is required to redeem and play the game. Be sure to verify the participation of any vendors purchased from as NVIDIA will not give codes for purchases made from non-participating sellers.

Maybe it's considered an improvement over the original, in it's original state, on paid review sites and such, but if you go read Bungie's own forums or the Reddit Destiny forums, just about anywhere actual players comment, you'd get a FAR different picture from people actually PLAYING the game daily.

Eh, I think the fans were just jaded with the lack of meaningful improvements for a sequel title, knowing they'll likely be charged just as much for additional content over the life of the game to fix inherent issues they see in the game, rather than the issues being addressed in the base game itself...JoeyJoJo123 - Wednesday, October 18, 2017 - link
Note: I'm referencing how Destiny 1's base game launched with several inherent issues which were really mostly addressed with additional DLC packs costing the player quite a bit over the game's lifespan. Given that Destiny 2 got a lukewarm release to diehard fans, they're likely a bit jaded that the same thing will happen again with late content additions which fix mechanics and system that should've never launched in the state they were in.Manch - Thursday, October 19, 2017 - link

I was excited for Destiny but the BS 30min campaign and well the fact that it was more of a large demo that lacked match making or any kind of coherency than a complete game just turned me away. Seriously, in order to get the story of WTF was going on, I had to go to a website? Use reddit to find people instead of a match making lobby of sorts? That game is now abandoned, and can't even fetch 2$ for it. Before I would preorder a Bungie game. Now? Never, I'll wait till its in the discount bin.

I think the concept of Destiny 2 is slightly changed from the previous one. In this game, the players have the new mission which makes the game more competitor. As in the original game, players are able to improve their characters, and they are more referred to as Guardians, and by this, they are gaining experience points. The character classes of the Destiny 2 is the same as the original Destiny.
